Ed Cocks MLA

Delivering local outcomes and higher standards for Canberra

Liberal Member for Murrumbidgee

A strong Liberal voice for Murrumbidgee

Ed Cocks is the Liberal Member for Murrumbidgee in the ACT Legislative Assembly. He is unashamedly ambitious for Canberra and optimistic about what our city can be: a place of strong communities, great careers and real opportunity, backed by higher standards in government and a better vision for the future.

You know your neighbourhood and the issues affecting your daily life, but too often local views and concerns seem to be dismissed and ignored. A lot of people say Labor has stopped listening. Ed believes being a good representative starts with showing up and doing the work to hear from you and understand your views and ideas. You will regularly find him out across Murrumbidgee, knocking on doors, holding mobile offices and visiting local community organisations.

Whether it's neglected community infrastructure, dangerous or congested roads, difficulty accessing a government service or an issue that has gone unresolved for too long, Ed works with you to understand the problem, takes it to the people responsible and presses for a clear response and practical action.

If something is affecting you, your family or your neighbourhood, tell Ed what is happening, and he will listen, take it seriously and work with you to find out what can be done.
